学生の頃、テレビや雑誌を見ては、
鹿児島は「東京」みたいな街になればいいのにと思っていました。
やがて鹿児島西駅は鹿児島中央駅と変わり、
アミュプラザ鹿児島ができ、いきなり「東京」が来た気がしました。
流行がタイムレスで鹿児島に入ってくるようになり、
それはもう嬉しかったものです。
少しおじさんになり都会への憧れがひと段落したところで、
コテコテな南国の鹿児島もいいんじゃないかな？
と思うようになりました。
昔の風景を取り戻そう！とかではないですが、
これからの未来、鹿児島に住む人来る人たちが、
いまよりもさらにリラックスできるような
コテコテな南国になったら面白そうだなと思います。
休みの日はお買い物したり、
ぷかぷか海に浮いたりしてリラックス、
そんな街になるといいですね。
