文化資源と聞くと、ガラス越しに眺める遠い存在というイメ ージがありました。
正しく背景を理解し、然るべき場所で 実物の質量を味わう経験はとても大事です。
しかし、忘れ去られないために日常に溶け込むことも、文化の継承にとって大事なことなのかもしれない、
そんな想いで今回の制作に取り組みました。
グラフィックに使わせていただいた「穴ノ谷銅鐸」は、 浜松市が所有する実物の史料を3D 撮影したデータをお借りしました。
そのモデルを「Unreal Engine」「Houdini」といったゲーム開発や映像制作に用いられるソフトに取込み、 グラフィックを作っています。
銅鐸は、豊作を祈願する道具として使われていた背景や、「穴ノ銅鐸」 が木の根に抱かれるような状態で出士したという経緯から、草木と共 に穏やかに眠るような世界感にしました。
今とはまるで違う、かっての時代の人々や日常に思いを馳せるきっかけとして、このグラフィックを見て頂けたら嬉しいです。
