私たちのブランド名である『BAN AKT』（読み：バン・アクト）は、多くの種類の癌、糖尿病や心臓疾患において、過剰発現しているAKT（がん原遺伝子）をBAN（追放）するという意味で命名いたしました。医療・医学の研究に役立ちたい気持ちで利益の一部を寄付し続けるアパレルブランドを立ち上げる為に活動を始めました。

カジュアルな路線で、若年層にも受け入れられやすいデザインを意識し、何気なく手にしたTシャツ１枚からでも、この活動を知っていただき世界に広がることを願っております。
