About this design

神秘の国ニッポン、その中でも特定の川にのみ生息していると言われる幻の魚、『ヒラタウオ』。
古来から洞窟壁画や絵巻、古文書にその存在が度々登場しているが、一切の生態は謎に包まれており、機嫌がいい時に水面から飛び出し「ヒラター」という鳴き声を放つという伝説のみが語られている。
一説には、ヒトの言葉を解すほどの高度な知能を備えており、その魚肉を食べたものは不死の体を手に入れられるとされているが、きっと尾ヒレのついた噂だろう。

Printing Notice
