About this design

キャバリアの4色をキャラクター化してみました。

もともと、キャバリアは4つの犬種が統合されて出来た犬種です。
それぞれの元の犬種名は色を表す呼び名として残っています。

ブレンハイムのキャバリアの元の犬種名はブレナムスパニエル。マルボロー公爵の領地にある宮殿に住んでいた犬であることが名前の由来です。
トライカラーのキャバリアの元の犬種名はプリンスチャールズパニエル等、数種類ありました。
ルビーのキャバリアの元の犬種名はルビースパニエル。毛色の深い赤から連想される宝石のルビーが由来です。
ブラック＆タンのキャバリアはキングチャールズスパニエルの代表色でした。

以上のことから、ブレンハイムは公爵、トライカラーは王子、ルビーは宝石、B＆Tは王のイメージで絵を描きました。
