About this design
奇形めだかのビロ。
背中が曲がっていて、成長とともにひねりまで出てきて最終的に尾びれは上を向いていました。
うまく泳げないからか、稚魚時代に他のメダカに突かれていましたが、隔離後はビロより小さなメダカたちと楽しく過ごしていました。
底の方でじっとしていることが多いのですが、人懐っこくて近づいて人の話に耳を傾けたり、自分も何か話したりするかわいいメダカです。
奇形メダカは「出来損ない」や「残念な子」として処分されたり、親メダカや別の魚のエサとして食べさせるというブリーダーもいます。
健康的な体、柄の出方という美しさだけにそれぞれの命を大切にしてほしい。
