環境アートスタジオ Keiko/Naoko の ”さんご・Sango” シリーズ。
サンゴの未来を託されたポセイドン。両眼からは未来の地球環境を探るための、赤いレーザービームを発射しているのかもしれません。でも、海王が最も大切にしているのが ”海を守りたい” と心をよせてくれる人々。海洋環境を守るのには国家や大きな組織だけでなく、海を守りたいとの思いで生活する人が多くいることで環境は変わっていきます。
海岸に打ち上げられた白化サンゴから海の環境を知ることができます。
美しい健康的なサンゴの育つ海にするために、私たちができることもたくさんあります。
宮古島の海岸で見つけたサンゴと貝殻の自然の色と形をそのまま使用しています。また水溶性接着剤で仕上げた作品は、撮影後すべて元の海岸に戻しています。
