冬になると日本に渡ってくる冬鳥。住宅街や公園、河川敷、林などわりとどこでも見ることが出来る身近な小鳥。冬鳥ではあるが一部地域では繁殖例が増えているため、一年中見られるようになるのでは…と期待をしている。オスは「ジョビ男」メスは「ジョビ子」と呼ばれて愛されてる。
ジョビ子はオスに比べて一見地味だけど、愛くるしい仕草と表情でコアなファンを虜にする。可愛いのに気が強いのも魅力のひとつ。
