#イルカ と #クジラ の違いは「4m以上がクジラでそれより小さいのがイルカ」と思っている人が多いようなので、そうではないことを表現したデザインです。
イルカの青とクジラの紺色のグラデーションは、イルカとクジラの境界が曖昧であることを示しています。
例えば、「ゴンドウクジラ類」はクジラ類と呼ばれますが、カズハゴンドウのように成体で2.1m～2.7mほどしかないものも、オキゴンドウ（成体で4.3～6ｍ）のように成体で4mを超えるものもいます。コビレゴンドウは成体で3.6～6.5mと、個体によって4mを超えたり超えなかったりです。
オウギハクジラの仲間（アカボウクジラ科の一部）はみんな「クジラ」と呼ばれますが、ペルーオウギハクジラは成体で3.4～3.7mと、4mに達しません。
英語では「シロ『イルカ』」がWhite whale（成体の体長は2.8～5m）で #Whale だったり、「ゴンドウ『クジラ』類」である #ハナゴンドウ がRisso’s dolphinで #Dolphin だったりします。しかも、 #Dolphin であるRisso’s dolphin（成体で2.6～3.6m）の方が #Whale であるMelon-headed whale（カズハゴンドウ, 成体で2.1～2.7m）よりも一般的に大きかったりします。
そもそも英語では鯨類（Cetacean）はDolphinとWhaleの2つに分けられるのではなく、 #Dolphin と #Whale と #Porpoise の3つに分けられます。Porpoiseはネズミイルカ科の仲間なので日本語では「イルカ」です。
#イルカ とか #クジラ とか #Porpoise とか、そもそも生物学的な分類群を指す言葉ではないですし、人によって呼び方が違ったり、明確な定義は無いのです。

WARNING- Traces of the pretreatment agent may remain on the printed surface, but this will be removed by washing.
