刺繍アーティスト＆イラストレーター Marron
4歳より刺繍を習い始め、糸が描く繊細ながらも素朴で力強い表現に惹かれて刺繍で絵を描き始めました。
1針ずつ刺していくことで生まれる微かな歪みや立体感が、モチーフに生き生きとした動きを与えるように手で刺繍しています。

テーマによく選ぶのは水や海中に関連するもの・ことです。
大人になってから海には想像がつかない生態と見た目の生き物が沢山いることを知りました。
想像を超える不思議なのに、あるがままの自然の一部であることを知った時、幻想世界が現実になったようでとてもわくわくしました。そのような生き物や世界を、幻想を交えながら絵巻物のように綴ることで、作品を観る人に子供の時のようなわくわくした気持ちを思い出して貰えたらいいなと思います。

Printing Notice
