思いをはせるネオンライトの東京の夜♡
なんかあの哀愁ってまだニューヨークでは見つけられてないんですよね。早く帰りたいなぁ〜〜〜と想像しながら描きました。

私のこと。。。
ちょっと毒々しくてカワイイ絵をニヤニヤしながらニューヨークで描いてます。
藝大を卒業してから東京のアパレル会社でデザイナーとして働き、２０１６年からはニューヨークに移住し、アメリカの現地ブランドでヘッドデザイナーとして働いています。
自分の好きなことを仕事にしたいと思い、２０２０年にRedbubble,SUZURIで作品を売り出し始めました。

Mieko is a designer born in Tokyo, now based in New York. She worked as a textile designer for 10 years at an apparel company after graduating from the Tokyo University of the Arts and moved to New York in 2016.

Mieko gets inspiration from Japanese underground culture, ‘80s new wave culture, and from club kids like Michael Alig (some of you may be familiar with the movie “Party Monster”). She brings slightly strange and quirky motifs to life with a cute twist with her bold choice of colors and humor.
