About this design

幻のロケット戦闘機秋水（しゅうすい）は、太平洋戦争中に日本陸軍と日本海軍が共同で開発を進めたロケット局地戦闘機である。ドイツ空軍のメッサーシュミット Me163の資料を基に日本で新たに設計。実践投入直前に終戦。試作機で終わった。高高度までハイスピードで上昇できるロケットエンジン搭載の秋水。日本初の無尾翼ロケット戦闘機です。震電と並ぶ航空史に残る幻の名機です。
この機は、実戦配備されるはずだった海軍312空戦隊所属の仕様となっております。
