== 写真について ==
日本橋が現在の石造りの二連アーチ橋になったのは、1911年(明治44年)のことでした。
この写真は撮影時期は正確には分かりませんが、町の建物はかなり日本家屋が多く、また日本橋三越本店(奥の白い大きな建物)が、古い時代の形なので、第二次世界大戦前か、更に古い関東大震災の前の撮影ではないかと推測しております。
三越グループさんのサイトで見たところ、1914年にこのルネッサンス様式の建物が完成しましたが、震災が1923年に発生し日本橋地域もかなりの被害を受けました。その後1935年に増改築工事が終わり、ほぼ現在の形の建物になったそうです。
それにしてもガス灯が立ち並ぶ橋の上を、路面電車が行き来し、相当に近代的な都市ですね。
