About this design

江戸時代、かつて「比内」と呼ばれていた秋田県北部地方に、あまりのおいしいさから年貢として納められていた鶏がありました。

それこそが比内地鶏の祖先である「比内鶏」です。時は流れその比内鶏の子孫である「秋田比内鶏」とロード種を交配して生まれたのが、現代の私たちが知る「比内地鶏」です。
秋田を誇る格好良くて美味しい地鶏です！
