About this design

それは、およそ4800万～3500万年前に地球に生息していたと言われる古代のペンギン。
体長は現代の皇帝ペンギンや、同じく古代のペンギンであるジャイアントペンギンをも凌ぐ1.8メートルの巨体を誇る。
ペンギンの泳ぎに重要な役割をする翼（フリッパー）は、まだ進化の途中のためか、飛べる鳥のそれに近い曲がり方をしていた。多分すごく可愛い。

今回は、ペンギンの始祖のようなイメージから、自分の知っているペンギンの特徴を兼ね備えたデザインにし、怪獣映画のような構図で制作しました。
