About this design

錦絵「三代目市川高麗蔵の志賀大七」のパーカーです。

1794年5月から約10か月ほどの僅かな期間に役者絵・相撲絵など140数点を刊行し、忽然と姿を消した謎の絵師「東洲斎写楽（とうしゅうさい しゃらく）」が残した役者絵のグッズです。

本作品は、三代目市川高麗蔵が、演目「敵討乗合話（かたきうちのりあいばなし）」の敵役、志賀大七を演じたものが描かれています。松下造酒之進を殺害しようと胸元から柄頭に手を伸ばし、不敵な笑いを浮かべている大七が描かれています。
