そんなキハ11系気動車は、ミャンマーに譲渡された後も同じカラーリングを保ち、ミャンマー国鉄において引き続き活躍しています。
この写真はミャンマー国鉄のホーム上にある線路市場に、キハ11が入線してくるシーンを撮影したものです。
日本時代では考えられない光景がミャンマーの線路にはありました。
見慣れたはずのキハ11系気動車が存在しながら、ミャンマーの独特な文化が周りに広がっています。
