About this design
美術家・杉﨑晴菜（旧姓・市橋）が猪苗代町立東中学校に2020年に描いた壁画の一部が、杉﨑氏の全面バックアップでTシャツになりました。壁画のタイトルは「生命の木」。多目的ホールのおよそ6メートルの柱２本と４本の幕に力強い６本の木が誕生しました。ver.1は生命の木を、生命力の象徴として見守るクマムシをモチーフにしています。クマムシは杉﨑氏のアイコン的モチーフです。
なぜ学校で壁画を描くのでしょうか？
日本のNPO法人ウォールアートプロジェクトにより2010年からインドで始まった国際的芸術祭「Wall Art Festival」。2018年からは福島県猪苗代町でも、地元の実行委員と教育委員会主導で開催されています。開催地の子どもたちが置かれている状況はさまざまですが、一線のアートに触れる滞在制作中、子どもたちはアーティストの熱量を受け、日に日に表情を輝かせていきます。
このTシャツの収益は、次回の猪苗代町での「Wall Art Festival」に向けてプールされ、画材費などに使わせていただきます。

スタッフレビュー
ゆるっとしたスタイルが好きなので、やや大きめにMサイズを選んで肩を落として着るのが定番です。だらしなくなりすぎないように裾はインすることが多いです。厚すぎず薄すぎずでちょうどよい生地です。
夏はこれ1枚で過ごすこともあるので、透けないよう暗めの色で着ています。素材は着ていて涼しいものだと感じます。ジャケットや上着にも合わせやすいので気に入っています。
普段はモノトーンになりがちですが、思い切ってピンクを購入しました！カラーバリエーションが豊富なのが嬉しいです。Lサイズで少し大きめサイズで着ています。柔らかい素材で着心地がとても良いので、シーンを問わずアクティブな場面でもリラックスしたい時間にも着たくなる一枚です。
ラフに着るのが好きで思いきってXXXLを選びました。ただ大きいだけになりがちなビッグサイズですが、スタンダードTシャツはダボダボになりすぎないサイズ感で見た目もキレイなままラフに着れます。素肌にそのまま着心地もよく気に入っています。
