歌川国貞の役者絵です。「当盛見立三十六花撰」というシリーズ。浮世絵、特に役者絵の見立てというのは実際には演じられていない演目や役柄を想像して描写することです。この作品は、「富貴三郎」という役者が「石橋の牡丹」という演目を演じたという想定で書かれたものですね。三十六花撰とある通り、このシリーズは３６種類の花を題材とした作品があります。花と役者絵の組み合わせがとても面白く、色彩が鮮やかなところがすごく好きです。Tシャツその他のアイテムに馴染むように色彩を鮮やかに編集してあります。おすすめの背景カラーはネイビーです。
