万物が永遠に生死の間を巡ること。万物が絶えず変化し移り変わってゆくこと。』

麒麟:
王が仁のある政治を行うときに現れる神聖な生き物「瑞獣」とされ、鳳凰、霊亀、竜と共に「四霊」と総称されている。神聖な幻の動物と考えられており、1000年を生き、その鳴声は音階に一致し、歩いた跡は正確な円になり、曲がる時は直角に曲がるという。
