About this design

カエルの龍燈鬼・天燈鬼がセットでプリントされたグッズです

国宝の龍燈鬼・天燈鬼から日本では一番身近にいるカエル、ヒキガエルを龍燈鬼モチーフでイラストにしました
天燈鬼は日本では古くから絵巻などに残されているトノサマガエルになっています
龍燈鬼はヘビを体に巻いている仏像なので、ヒキガエルの天敵ヤマカガシをセットで描いています
天燈鬼は頭に灯篭を載せた龍燈鬼と違い、左肩に灯篭を担いで大きく口を開けたデザインになっています

いつものイラストとは違い、可愛らしいイメージではなく渋めのインパクトとカラーに仕上げています
