About this design

時に大きく時にワンポイントにヒキガエルがプリントされているグッズです。
ヒキガエルはアマガエルと並んで日本ではとても身近に生息していて、市街地でも庭先や神社などの縁の下に暮らしていることが多く虫などを食べてくれるので、人と共存してきました。
古来からの日本の代表的なカエルでもあるうえ、その渋さからファンも多くとても愛されているカエルです。
しかしその見た目と、毒があることから結構嫌われていることも多いですが、実際は場所によっては守り神にされたり、とても縁起のいい生き物です。
