About this design

ヒキガエルがヤマカガシに飲み込まれる悪夢を見ているステッカーです。
ヒキガエルといえばヤマカガシにお尻から飲み込まれているシーンをよく見ます。
そんなヒキガエルが夢の中でヤマカガシに食べられそうになってうなされているイラストです。
きっとカエルも寝ているとき何かしらの夢を見てるのかな、悪夢だったらどんな夢だろうという事で悪夢をイメージしました。

ヒキガエルはアマガエルと並んで日本ではとても身近に生息していて、市街地でも庭先や神社などの縁の下に暮らしていることが多く
虫などを食べてくれるので、人と共存してきました。
その見た目と、毒があることから結構嫌われていることも多いですが、実際は場所によっては守り神にされたり、とても縁起のいい生き物です。
