火の鳥のモデルとなった鳥。
その美しさは世界一との呼び声も高く、乱獲や、生息地域の減少により
数が減っている。

・オナガラケットハチドリ
ペルー北部のごく限られた地域にのみ生息し、2本の特徴的な尾羽を持つ。
地球上に数百羽しかいないと言われ、
その生態はあまり分かっていない謎の鳥。
環境破壊などにより生息数が減少している。
