About this design

中世のイングランド王。
世界史で習う『マグナ・カルタ』はこのジョン王の時代に制定された。マグナ・カルタは国王の権限を制限したことで憲法史の草分けとも言われ、後に『人権』と言われるようになる内容も多く含まれた非常に先進的な憲章だったが、要はこのジョン王がヤバすぎたゆえに家臣たちに強制的に署名させられてしまったルール。
このことが議会の発達を促し、後のイギリス大躍進にも繋がったと言えるかも知れないので、長い目で見ると結果的には偉大な人物、かも。
