和名：ホシゾラアカガエル
学名：Hyla Space
英名：Space Red Frog
全長：25~30mm
　もう絶滅してしまったカエルで、古い書物や遺跡の文字を解読した記録によると、「宇宙の一瞬の輝きを、その身に閉じ込めたかのように、鮮やかに煌めく宝石のようなカエル」と記されている。
　その美しい色彩に魅了された者は多く、このカエルは、古来から「このカエルを有する者は宇宙を支配できる」とも言い伝えられ、神への捧げものなどに使われた。それぐらいの貴重種でもあり、多くの歴史的著名人にも愛されてきた。
　しかし、このカエルが送られた王朝は長くは繁栄せず、このカエルを巡る戦争も多く、「呪われたカエル」でもある。歴史が物語るのは、強欲に支配された者は、宇宙を手に入れることはできない、ということなのかもしれない。
