学名：Hyla Fragaria Izumii
英名： Strawberry Frog
全長：35~45mm
　イチゴにそっくりなカエル。頭に生えた茎のようなものやその鮮やかな体色がとても愛おしいカエル。その可愛さから、カエル愛好家に人気がある。手足が生えてきたばかりの子供のころは、薄い緑色をしているが、徐々に鮮やかな赤になる。
　専門家によると、とても甘いものが大好物で、ショートケーキの上に乗せると食べ終わるまでそこを離れないらしい。ケーキや甘いものを追いかけて、町中にまで出てくることもしばしば。
　鳴き声は、小さいが高く、鳥のように鳴く。
　縄張り意識が高く、数匹で群れを作って皆で子育てをする。
