About this design

広田守弘
大分市に生まれる｡昭和21年明治専門学校(現・九州工業大学)を卒業し､米占領軍の通訳を経て同25年より大分県内の高校で教鞭をとる｡昭和37年県立鶴崎工業高校デザイン科に移った頃より独学で版画を始める｡
昭和46年美術科教員研修により渡米｡同50年個展開催以来､版画グランプリ(日動画廊主宰)や日本版画会をはじめ､リュブリアナ国際版画ビエンナーレ､クラコー国際版画ビエンナーレ等の海外展にも積極的に作品を発表する｡
当初の頃は木版画で県内の風景などを扱う｡昭和50年代半ば頃より､透明プラスティックを版とし､ドライポイントのように削り出すルーサイト版を主に手がけるようになる｡蔦やアラベスク文様を主な題材とし､抽象的で幻想的な作風を展開し､評価を得ている

Printing Notice

WARNING
