説明：1918年から1943年ブルガリアの国王を務めたボリス3世の肖像。第二次世界大戦では中立を模索しながらも結局は枢軸国側として参戦するが、ブルガリアの壊滅的な被害を防ぎホロコーストから国内のユダヤ人を守った。1943年にドイツへアドルフ・ヒトラーを訪問し、帰国直後に急死する。公式見解は心臓発作だったが、ヒトラーによる毒殺だったのではとの説もある。
