〇キャラクターについて
御浜町の青ぎりみかん（極早生）と紀州犬のコラボ。
御浜町は、峰弥九郎ものがたりにでくる「マン」の話から紀州犬の発祥の地と言われています。極早生は、おいしく早く食べられるように努力されてきました。そんな努力のみかんの色と御浜町社協のカラーの緑、紀州犬がコラボしてできました。デザインは御浜町出身の尾鼻さやかさんです。
〇名前について
御浜町社協を「みぃ」で表現すると共に、みんな笑顔で輪（まる）になってつながっていることを「まる」で表現しています。
御浜社協（みぃ）は、地域のみなさま（み）と笑顔で（まる）っとつながります」
