About this design

地紋総合研究所による「封筒地紋（ふうとうじもん）」をデザインしたシリーズです。
一般的に「地紋（じもん）」とは、切符・チケット・保険証・有価証券・領収書・金券など、付加価値を有する印刷物の下地に印刷された模様をさします。これら「地紋」は主に偽造防止や品格演出の役割を担います。
一方、当シリーズで取り上げる「地紋」は、主に封筒の内側に印刷された模様をさします。給与明細や請求書など機密性の高い書類を封筒に収める際、内側に「地紋」を印刷することにより、外側から判読させないようにする役割を担います。
判読させない。目的はただそれだけなのに、無駄な個性やこだわりが見て取れます。そんな「地紋」をお楽しみください。
