田辺美晴は、とある田舎町に住む高校2年生。この町には、古くから伝わる不思議な伝説がある。それは、町を守る「星の巫女」が危機の際、町を救うというもの。美晴はそんな伝説をただのおとぎ話としか思っていなかったが、ある日、彼女自身がその巫女の生まれ変わりであることを知る。

美晴は、金髪のロングヘアに深い緑色の瞳を持つ美少女。日常では、地味で控えめな性格で学校でも目立たない存在。しかし、星の巫女としての彼女は、力強く、自分の運命と町の人々を守るために戦う決意を持っている。
