となり町の丘で、故郷を想うガラパゴスゾウガメとガラパゴスペンギン。そしてそっと寄り添うペントロー。
ガラパゴスゾウガメはサンタクルス島に生息するサンタクルスゾウガメを参考に描きました。同じ島に生息するガラパゴスペンギンはフンボルトペンギンの中で最小の種。
最も低緯度に生息しています。ガラパゴス諸島にもペンギンがいるってなんかすごい。暖かいところでも生きられるんだなあ。
ちょっと生態を書きましたがペントローの世界では様々なところに生息する、本来一緒にいることのない生き物たちが自由なところで一緒にいます。
アウトローなペンギン、それがペントローなのです。
