About this design

【想い】
私がMSになった当初、インターネットで検索をすると「MSは美しい女性がなる病気」とヒットしたことが印象的で、その名に恥じぬように生きて行こうと決意しました。このデザインには、MS当事者の外面的・内面的な“美しさ”や“アイデンティティ”を象徴するものにしたい、という想いを込めています。
【デザイン】
美しさやアイデンティティを表現するために、花とリボンをモチーフにしています。「感謝」や「崇高美」といった花言葉を持つピンクのガーベラ。そして、横倒しにすると「MS」と読めるリボン。花を自分自身と見立て、エレガントなリボン＝“MSというアイデンティティ”をまとって力強く生きて行く様を表しています。
そして、静的な美しさを印象付ける青、アクティブな印象のあるピンクという配色もこだわったポイントで、さりげなく入った「MS」の文字は、疾患を示すアイコンにもなりうるデザインです。
