(蘇鉄)
『鉄』は、あらゆる物と結びつき生命に大きな影響を与えています。自らを見失った時、生きる事を忘れなければ指標という釘は打たれるはずです。永遠の命、華やかな鳳尾蕉、心を鉄としてみれば惹かれる物と結びつくのです。
小さい時から身近に蘇鉄がありました。想いが蘇った事は、僕の心がある指標を持てたのではないかと思いました。

蘇鉄(鳳尾蕉)・・・学名Cycas Revoluta、日本で自生する唯一の種で、自然分布では日本固有種
「蘇鉄」という名前は、枯れかかった時に鉄釘を打ち込むと蘇るという伝承に由来する。
