実はコウモリって血を吸う（正確には舐める）種類は３種類しかいないんです。９８０種類近くいるうちの３種。少ないですね。
通称フルーツバットはその名の通りフルーツしか食べません。
日本の川原でよく見かけるのは虫を食べる種類です。
私が飼っていたエジプシャンルーセットオオコウモリはバナナやリンゴ、キウイをよく食べてましたが、スイカを初めてあげた時過去最大目を輝かせて喜んでいました。
虫を食べる種類のコウモリグッツは見かける時もあるけど、フルーツバットのグッツはなかなか見かけない……（フルーツバットはワンちゃんのような鹿のような可愛い顔をしているよ）
日本でなかなか飼うことはできないフルーツバット、どこかに忍ばせてはどうです？（ほんもののフルーツバットを家族に迎えいりたい時はエキゾッチクアニマルペットショップに相談するといいかも。飼うのは難しいです。）
