中華っぽいネオン看板に惹きつけられてあそばせ！

「臨時召集半荘」の文字を背負い、自由を手にするまでーーーー

遠い未来の上海、荒廃した街の雑居ビルにある、古寂れた雀荘「四喜荘」から届いた招待状には「臨時召集半荘」の文字が刻まれていた。。。
そこにはネオチャイナ政府主催「電子牌遊戯麻雀大会」への招待と、優勝特典の「ネオチャイナ政府管轄保護区への永住権進呈」の文字が記されている。

2520年。
500年前に流行った原因不明の疫病は、地球の人口を10億人にまで減らし、世界各地の都市や国家は完全に機能しない状態に陥っていた。富裕層は各国の政府管轄保護区に移住し、貧困層は荒廃した旧都市部でその日暮らしを強いられていたのであった。ネオチャイナ政府は汚染された旧都市部の住人を殺処分の後、奪還する事で、世界にその力を見せつけようと画策する。その前に旧都市部に残された有能な人材を確保し、ネオチャイナ発展の足掛かりにすることを決定したのであった。
