About this design

ニューギニア島西部にあるバタンタ島にのみ生息する、幻の青い蜥蜴が樹上で獲物を捕らえようとしている瞬間を描きました。
樹上生活に特化しているため尾と指が非常に長く、身体も細長く和名もアオホソオオトカゲとなっています。
作品において、獲物に集中するあまり左手指あたりの曲がり具合にも気付いて頂けたら嬉しいです。
制作には日々、深夜に2～3時間ずつ全力で取り組み、約2ヶ月近く（100時間以上）費やした作品です。
20年以上、爬虫類飼育員をしてきました人間の蜥蜴愛を感じて頂けたら本望です。

Printing Notice
