フランツ・ビショフ（アメリカ人、1864-1929）
フランツ・アルバート・ビショフは、主に中国の絵画、花の絵画、カリフォルニアの風景で知られるアメリカの芸術家です。彼はオーストリアのシュタインシェーナウ（現在はチェコ共和国のカメニッキー・シェノフとして知られている）で生まれました。彼は10代の頃に米国に移住し、そこで帰化した。ヨーロッパにいる間、彼の初期の訓練は応用デザイン、水彩画、陶磁器の装飾に焦点を当てていました。
米国に到着した後、ビショフはニューヨーク、オハイオ州フォストリア、ミシガン州デトロイト、ミシガン州ディアボーンで働いた。デトロイトとディアボーンにいる間、彼は磁器の絵付け師として、またその技法の教師として、また陶磁器の釉薬の製造者として、また水彩画の教師としても成功を収めました。
