Oliver, a shy and awkward male waterfowl,
had his heart set on a female waterfowl named Emma.
Emma lacked charm and no one had ever seen her smile.
Oliver decides to approach Emma.
Every few years, a mysterious gemstone
would float on the surface of that pond.
Day after day he waited for that gem to appear.
On a mysterious pink dusk, the gem floated to the surface of the water.
Oliver carefully held the gem in his beak and presented it to Emma.
Emma quickly realized that the gem was just a colorful painted pebble.
The gemstone was so beautiful that it brought a smile to Emma's face.

水鳥が住む池の水面には数年に一度、不思議な宝石が浮かぶことがあり、彼は来る日も来る日もその宝石が現れるのを待ったのです。
不思議なピンク色の夕暮れに、宝石は水面に浮かんできました。
オリバーは宝石をくちばしで大事そうにくわえ、エマにプレゼントしました。
