使い古された靴下を好み身にまとっている。より良いデザインの靴下を身にまとうことで、己の価値をたかめ、繁殖期での優位性を確保している。同じデザインの靴下をまとったつがいを見かけると、幸せが訪れると言われている。
主食は、恋する視線をたべている。
そのため、色気のある人妻がいる団地は、通りすがりの男性達が多く視線をおくるため、ナカアライ達の格好のエサ場となっている。
鳴き声は「ぼみぃんご！ぼみぃんご！」
