About this design

チミホコ科　サチミホコ
頭部に尾を持った生き物で雌雄同体である。
生息地はコーヒーショップの照明の裏で市街地より郊外の店舗を好む傾向にある。
尾を巧みに使い照明間を素早く移動している為、目撃例は極めて少ない。
片目は毛のようなもので覆われており照明の熱を利用して伸ばしている。
第一発見者のハンゲ・サ・ビービン博士により、毛のようなものはサチミホコの食料になっていることが78年の学会で発表され会場をどよめかせた。
不確かな情報ではあるがコーヒーショップのスタッフの間ではサチミホコが住み着いている数が多いショップのコーヒー豆はより美味しいというジンクスがある。
以前ショップ間で乱獲が多発した為、近年捕獲することは国際ルールにより禁じられている。
鳴き声は確認されていない。
