夜が眠れなくて‥
少しずつ明るくなってきた朝に気がついた。
布団から出るのも嫌だった

ふと、窓の外から声が聞こえた
「おはよう！」

黄色い花を持った妖精さんが
笑顔でこちらを見ている。

「どうしたの？元気ないね。」
「夜眠れなかったの？」

「うん…」とうなずいた。
彼女の優しい声に安心感をおぼえた。

「そうか…それは辛かったね。でも、今日は新しい一日だよ。楽しいことが待ってるかもしれないよ。」
妖精さんは言って、黄色い花を差し出した。「これはね、幸せの花っていうんだ。見てごらん、きれいでしょ？」

花を見たら、本当にきれいだった。
黄色い花びらが太陽の光を受けて、キラキラと輝いている。花の香りも甘くて、心地よかった。

「この花を持ってるとね、幸せな気持ちになれるんだって。だから、あげるよ。」妖精さんは言って、花を手渡した。「これで元気出してね。」

「ありがとう…」と言った。妖精さんの優しさに感動した。花を受け取って、顔に近づけたら、ふわっと暖かさが伝わってきた。

「じゃあね、また会おうね。」妖精さんは言って、窓から飛んで行った。後ろ姿も可愛らしかった。

窓から見える景色も明るくなっていた。空は青くて、鳥がさえずっている。風も心地よくて、気分が晴れやかになった。
