能　小鍛冶／こかじ

刀匠（とうしょう）として名高い三条小鍛冶宗近（さんじょうこかじむねちか＝京都の三条に住む鍛冶師、宗近さん）は、霊夢を見た天皇に刀を打つよう言われますが、刀を打ち上げるには、宗近と同じ技量をもった相槌（あいづち）を打てる者が必要です。
困った宗近は、稲荷明神にお参りすることに。すると少年があらわれ、相槌の者を約束するので待て、と言って消えてしまいます。

家に帰り祭壇を用意した宗近。そこへあらわれたのは、狐の精霊となった稲荷明神でした。
明神は宗近の相槌をつとめ、刀は無事に完成！　明神は、刀は小狐丸（こぎつねまる）と名付けようと言うと、また雲にのり、帰っていきます。

名刀・小狐丸の誕生に立ち会える曲です。明神の動きはシャカシャカして狐みたい？（頭にキツネ載せてます。）
ここでは年末、相槌を打つように、黒ヒゲ危機いっぱつのゲームにこたつで熱中するみなさん。思わず黒ヒゲのたるに小狐丸を刺そうとする稲荷明神。
ひと休みしたいのは人間も神様も同じかもしれません。
