About this design

19世紀フランスの画家、服飾研究家アルベール・シャルル・オーギュスト・ラシネ(1825-1893)の代表作「服飾史/Le Costume Historique」に収録された、中国の装飾品の図版を使用しています。
ラシネの「服飾史」は、古代から19世紀までの人類の服飾の歴史を、ヨーロッパ各国のみならずアジアやアフリカにまでわたって広範囲に調査し、膨大な数の図版を用いて記録した服飾史書の金字塔。世界の歴史的衣装や民族衣装の図は、資料的な価値はもちろん、美術的にも評価の高いイラストです。
