About this design

毎年4月25日は「世界ペンギンの日」
今世界には18種(亜種を含めるともう少し分類は細かくなります)のペンギンたちが暮らしています
しかしその多くの種は地球温暖化、タンカーの原油流出、人間の資源採掘や漁業との競合でペンギンの生息地が減っている事、本来生息地にいなかったはずの人間の持ち込んだ生物に襲われるなどによって、絶滅が危惧されています
今世界にいるペンギンたちが未来も種が存続していけるように願いを込めて、エンペラーペンギンを中心に世界の18種のペンギンたちを1種1種、青いボールペンで細密画風に描きました
