About this design

奈良県吉野地域に500年前から受け継がれている「吉野林業」の山仕事の様子をイラストにしました。
「地明け」「植え付け」「下草刈り」「枝打ち」、何代にもわたって手間暇かけて木を育てることを吉野では「撫育」と呼びます。
